Ashley was conceived in San Clemente California, on the 10th of February, 1987. Prior to moving to Hawaii her first time surfing was when she was just five years old. When she was 6, she won a contest by using an old-fashioned board she discovered in the rubbish in front of her home. At the age 5 she was surfing, and at 6 was the winner of her first surf contest. By the time she was 7, she already was sponsored. She was originally from San Clemente, California. Later she moved to Hawaii. She began dating Abraham, a model, in 2016.
