Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie has been the first female to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit bodybuilder, athlete and media star. It was her fame that made her the first female to win achieved two wins at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie, along with her parents and siblings, was birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and began working out at when she was a young age. Her first participation was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California and did excellently. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She's 5'7" tall, and weighs 67lbs. Annie started her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing at the top of the list. Even though she was not able to win one of the championships however she was able to finish with an 11th-place finish. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. After an entire year of CrossFit Games she won the first CrossFit Games. The dominating accomplishment made her a winner of the title. Annie took home another gold medal at the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her amazing performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of at least two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she also was awarded a gold medal. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is an athlete in the making, was featured in adverts to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's Yerbae - the sidekick for Nu Transparent Labs for Periodization and others. In addition to this she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel videos are posted.
